Sub: - Construction of Residential Flats at New Town.

 

Sir,

 

In continuation of the presentation of the project made in the Milan Mela Ground at Park Circus Maidan on 2nd January 2008

I am to inform you that a Project Implementing Committee for the Housing Project at New Town, Kolkata has been formed.

The committee had its first meeting on 7th March 08. The conceptual plan which was presented on 2nd January 2008 has been

discussed in the meeting and finalised. As per the plan the area of the two bed rooms flats would be between 750- 1000

sq ft. and for three bed rooms flats between 1000-1200 sq ft. The other facilities in the project would be as follows: -

 

·         Multipurpose Hall to accommodate approximate 300 residents which may also be used for prayers, special classes, Marriage Exhibition, Games etc.

 

·         Commercial Area / Provision Store as per requirement of residents.

 

·         Multigym, Swimming Pool at the option the residents.

 

The estimated construction cost would be between Rs.  1500/- to 1600/- . However, the actual cost will be known only after finalization of the tenders.

 

The committee has now decided that in order to take up the work, the allottees of the flats should pay the following amount.

 

Two Bed Rooms Flats- Rs. 80,000/-

Three Bed Rooms Flats – Rs. 1.00 lakh

 

Those who have not yet paid the full amount of the earlier installment should also pay the balance amount. The amount as stated above

should be paid within 15th May 2008 by Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation ‘ .
